Book Review: One Wrong Move by Dani Pettrey

Book description:

Taunting riddles.

A deadly string of heists.

Two broken hearts trapped in a killer's game.

Christian O'Brady was pulled into a life of crime at a young age by his con artist parents. Now making amends for his corrupt past, he has become one of the country's foremost security experts. When a string of Southwestern art heists targets one of the galleries Christian secured, he is paired up with a gifted insurance investigator who has her own checkered past.

Andi Forester was a brilliant FBI forensic analyst until her career was destroyed. She now puts those skills to work investigating insurance fraud, and this latest high-stakes case will test her gift to the limit. Drawn deep into a dangerous game with an opponent bent on revenge, Christian and Andi are in a race against the clock to catch him, but the perpetrator's game is far from finished, and one wrong move could be the death of them both.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

One Wrong Move is another awesome read by Dani Pettrey!

In One Wrong Move, Christian O’Brady, a PI and security specialist, works with his clients, using the knowledge he gained from his turbulent childhood to help protect them and their assets. Andi Forester, a wrongly discredited ex-FBI agent, is an insurance investigator who gets thrown together with Christian to solve a string of museum heists. Sparks and mayhem ensue as they race to discover who is pulling the heist and why it seems so personal. They are in a race against the clock to stop the thieves before more people die.

This story is another Dani Pettrey exhilarating adventure with car chases, flying bullets, edge-of-your-seat suspense, faith-filled characters, and a blossoming romance between Christian and Andi. I love the family dynamic between Christian and his siblings. They have a strong bond and use their gifts to make a well-rounded team. Andi, likewise, has strong support from her best friend, who jumps in to help. One Wrong Move is an excellent read from Dani Pettrey.
